Handbuilt from Louisiana cypress, this stand lifts your greenery into the light and lets the grain do the talking. The wood’s resin-rich heart resists moisture and warping, so it feels at home beside a sunny window or on a covered porch where the air smells like rain. Each piece is hand-sanded silky smooth, finished to a soft luster that catches morning light, and sturdy enough to hold your favorite pot with quiet confidence. No two are alike—swirls, knots, and honeyed tones tell the story of the tree and the place it grew.

Louisiana Cypress
Cypress has deep roots in Louisiana craftsmanship, adding a local and cultural tie-in. While pecky cypress gets its signature look from rare organic voids formed over decades, all cypress lumber has its own unique color and grain.
What Does Live Edge Mean?
The primary distinction between live edge and non-live edge is that live edge wood retains its natural edges, whereas non-live edge wood has been trimmed or modified. The choice between live edge and non-live edge ultimately depends on individual taste.
Our Process
We use locally sourced cypress. The hurricane damaged logs are salvaged then milled by us on our personal mill. This allows us to produce the exact lumber needed for each project. Each piece then goes onto the solar kiln until it has reached 130℉ for 5 days and has 10% to 14% moisture content. This process rids the lumber of bacteria and bugs.
Once an order is placed, we thoughtfully select each material with the customer in mind. Every piece is expertly planed, sanded, and crafted with precision to create a truly exceptional final product.
Please keep in mind that because we are working with a natural product the grain, texture and color will vary from what you see on our other pieces. No item has the same grain color, finish, or wood knots. The price of your piece may vary from this project due to size, lumber and epoxy requirements.
